Obituary for Patricia Lillian Simpson

SIMPSON, Patricia Lillian – November 25, 1943 to January 11, 2023

Patricia passed away peacefully, in her 80th year, surrounded by her children, her sister and brother. She was born in Halifax, N.S, where her father was stationed during World War II. She grew up in Longueuil, QC and then moved to Ontario where she lived in Mississauga for 40 years, and finally the last few years in Niagara Falls.
She bravely fought with all her might right to the end. Her parents, Frances and George Simpson would have been very proud of her strength and resilience.
She leaves behind her children, Debbie (Nigel), Christine (Michelangelo) and Michael (Traci), her siblings, Marilyn, George, Ernie and Joan, as well as grandchildren, Kevin (Tara), Shelley, Adam, Victoria (Jacob), Thomas, Samantha, Jordan and Jessica, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Judy.
Although she was small in size, her heart and the impact she had on others was large. Her life was devoted to loving her children and family members, caring for others and always willing to help whoever needed it. She will be best remembered for her curious nature, love of Elvis, shopping for bargains, and the slippers that she continued to knit over many decades. She gave with all her heart, never expecting anything in return.
