MOOTE, Peter Edwin
Passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on Friday February 5th at the age of 93.
Beloved husband of the late Beverly for 65 years, devoted father of Rev. Kathryn Phillips (late Greg), Bonnie Sandercock (Robert), P.J. (Michele), and Lori Muller (Dwayne) cherished Poppa of Matthew (Megan), Jessica (Greg), Peter (Kyri), Katelynn (Robbie), Nicholas (Alyssa), Jeffrey (Candice), Courtney (Dylan), Joshua (Aleisha), Hailey and the late Amelia, and 10 great-grand-children. Favorite uncle of his nieces, nephews. Fondly remembered by many friends. Pre-deceased by Fred, Irene, Muriel, Ruth, John. Peter was a high school teacher for the last 22 years of his career at Niagara District Secondary School.
A service to celebrate the life of Peter will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to the United Church of Canada Mission and Service Fund, and Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.
