Remollino, Pietro - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Peacefully passing away surrounded by his loving family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on April 6th, just weeks shy of his 96th birthday. Adored husband of Rosa for 61 years. Cherished father of Ina (Jeff) Madden and Dan Remollino (Heide Garbot). Proud Papa of his grandchildren Stephen and Courtney Madden. Loving brother of Incornata Radice (the late Pietro) and Gus (Gloria) Remollino. Dear brother-in-law of Lucy Mare (the late Donato) and Vince (Sabina) DiNapoli. Sadly missed by his two siblings in Australia and three siblings in Italy. Predeceased by two siblings in Australia and one in Italy. Predeceased by his parents Vincenza and Giuseppi Remollino. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pietro came to Canada in 1960 from San Fele, Potenza, Italy. Pietro was a kind-hearted, devoted family man. He adored his family so much and loved when we were all together. Every time he would see his grandchildren, the biggest smile would come over his face. He enjoyed tending to his garden and making wine. A true “gentle man” with a heart of gold. We will always remember you in our hearts “Ti ameremo sempre”. Respecting the COVID-19 restrictions, a private family visitation and funeral service will take place at Morse and Son Funeral Home, followed by the Rite of Entombment at Fairview Mausoleum. A mass celebrating his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Niagara Health Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
