Condolence From: Oli and Frank MacTaggart
Condolence: Dear Judy ( and Family)...very sorry to hear of Rick's passing. He was fun to work with and I even had him reporting to me for a year in Toronto at The Bay...I'm not sure he even knew he ever had a boss ( except on the home front). He was great at any job he took, his knowledge and leadership always shone through and he always spoke glowingly of Judy and the Family.
He was very resilient over the past few years and is now at peace...certainly to be missed but not forgotten, sincerely, Frank MacTaggart

Condolence: We are very sorry to hear the sad news of Rick’s passing. We met Rick and his wife Judy in Niagara on the Lake ... after our respective ‘retirements’ from interesting and long careers. It was always a real pleasure to get together with Rick and Judy ... apart from reliving so many interesting moments in our past working lives we soon learned that Rick’s knowledge and interests were very multi dimensional and that in these other areas (beyond business and commerce) Rick had even more to offer his guests and friends ... so we came to enjoy a truly amazing talent as a painter, a man who had planned many interesting and exciting trips to far-flung corners of the planet, a gifted raconteur, a man with deep insights and caring for others, a great aficionado of cinema and movies, a man who enjoyed many fine home locations and knew how to design them with the skill of an accomplished interior designer, etc , etc

In short Rick was the type of individual that made it a pleasure simply to be in his company.

Our deepest sympathy to you Judy and to your/Rick’s family on your loss.

Andrew and Emily

Condolence: Dear Judy and family and Gale and family. I am so sorry to read about Rick's passing. My heartfelt sympathy to all of you.
Even though Rick was a bit older than me I still have fond memories of him growing up - from chasing after a peeping tom late one winter night to following his band around to the local community centres to seeing him at Eaton's when we both worked there. Always smiling with an infectious laugh. Again, my thoughts are with you at this sad and difficult time.
Sincerely, cousin Janice
