CLAYTON, Rodney James– After celebrating Christmas with his family, Rodney Clayton, 69 years of age, suddenly passed away on December 26, 2022. He leaves behind his loving wife Diane (McMurray), and his sons Ryan (Laura), and Brendon (Adriana), his father Bud (Mary), sister Rhonda (Stu), and brother Bob. Rod was predeceased by his mother Beatrice, and sister-in-law Sam.
Rod was a true Renaissance man. He was a talented and award-winning cartoonist and artist, both in the community and through his employment at General Motors. He valued the time spent working on cars and renovating his home. There wasn’t a problem he couldn’t solve. He was an incredible man; empathetic, altruistic, and made everyone he spoke with feel special. As a husband and father few were as kind and loyal, family was his world. He will be dearly missed.
