SKINNER, Roseanne “Cookie” (Somerville)–
Peacefully in her sleep with her family at her side on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at St. Catharines General Hospital,
at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Thomas for 34 years. Devoted mother of Patti Schamber (Gary), Beverlee Rasmussen (Brent), Julie Phillips (Gary) and Darren Monrad (Helen). Adored grandmother of Brandi Rose, Elizabeth, Joseph, Daniel, Clinton, Carly, Megan, Eric, Joshua, Nicole and Jeff. Great grandmother of Zaiden, Breyden, Cailynn, Miller, Terry, Presley, Melanie, Brody, Mac, Sloan, Marcus and Harrison. Dear sister of Barbara Morris (Jack) and Mary Ellen Somerville. Predeceased by her parents William and Dorothy Somerville and grandson Jacob.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Church, 4750 Zimmerman Avenue, Niagara Falls, on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 10 a.m., with a reception to follow. Cremation has taken place with a private interment to follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to Niagara Health Foundation – St. Catharines Site.
