DICKEY, Ruth Barbara (nee Will) - Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on October 13, 2022 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of Archie for 80 years. Loving mother of Gary (Karen) and Diane Gisel (Jim). Nana will be lovingly remembered by her 4 grandchildren, Michael Hill, Sherry Briggs (Dan), Katherine Masterson (Matt) and Nancy Lesso (Chris). Proud great-grandmother of Kyla, Taylor, Ava, Lauryn, Mia, Henry and Dorthy. Ruth enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels for many years. She was active in Canvassing for the Canadian Cancer Society. She loved singing in the Barbershop Chorus, square dancing, line dancing and painting. Ruth enjoyed being a member of the Holy Trinity Church community. Family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, on Tuesday October 18th from 11a.m. – 1p.m. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday 1p.m. with committal of cremated remains to follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Heart Niagara or Canadian Cancer Society.
