POWELL, Ruth - Peacefully, with family by her side, Ruth died at the age of 93 years on November 29, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Powell (1999). Dear mother of Richard (Susan), Donald (Rosemary), John and Alan (Barbara). Loving Grannie of Alex, Nicole, Christopher and step-grandchildren Jackie, Miles, Josh and Bridget. Predeceased by siblings Kathleen Large, Marjorie Corfield, Evelyn Prior, Jack Corfield, Jean Curtis and Ben Corfield. Ruth will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Ruth was a lifelong reader and enjoyed gardening and watching hockey games. Family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, on Wednesday, December 7th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday December 8th at 1:30p.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
