He was also a fourth-degree and life member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as Pro-Life Chairman for 20 years and as President of Right to Life for 8 years. Tony was a co-founding member and a life member of the Centennial Fish and Game Club. He owned and operated the Tony Mannella School of Music for over 50 years and performed regularly with his orchestra, Tony Mannella and his Serenaders for over 20 years.
Tony was survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lidia (a.k.a. Leigh), whom he loved deeply. He also leaves behind his children, Sam (Mara), Anthony (Evie), Franklyn, Mary Dolores (the late Robert Joseph), Dorothy (John), and John Paul (JJ), as well as his eleven cherished grandchildren; Laura, Anthony, Jessica, Alaina (Nick Gauthier), Andrew, Michael, Hayley (Christopher Buchanan), Benjamin, Cassandra Leigh, John Robert, and Johnathan who affectionately referred to him as "Pepe." Tony is also survived by his brother Dee (Donna), sister Phyllis (the late Joseph Futino), sister Rita (Domenic Mazzotta), sister-in-law Rose (the late Saverio D’ Avolio), brother-in-law Chuck Minotti (the late Mary) and brother-in-law Nick Minotti (Joanne).
