PATTERSON, Vilma ‘Val’ (Costa) 1934 - 2023
It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandma, Vilma Patterson. Born May 4, 1934, passed away surrounded by her family January 8, 2023 in her 88th year, at Northland Pointe Long Term Care Home. Vilma has gone to join her beloved husband Donald (2008) of 51 years. She will be greatly missed by her children Calvin (Sandi), Diane (Lloyd), Dennis (Sandie), Robert and Richard. Vilma will be remembered lovingly by her 8 grandchildren Jessica (Robbie), Amy (Erik), Aaron, Daniel (Morgan), Joshua, Megan (Jake), Emma (Mike), Mara and her 3 great-grandchildren Wyatt, Austin and Owen. She is survived by her sister Elena. Vilma loved working the dayshift at McDonalds for over 20 years, camping at Bissell’s Hideaway, and was the Bingo Queen.
Special thanks to the staff at Northland Pointe for their care and compassion in our time of need In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region would be appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls. As per Vilma’s request, cremation has taken place.
