GERMANO, Vincent John ‘Corky’ – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle, Vincent, at Welland County General Hospital on Tuesday September 3, 2019 at the age of 90. Vincent will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 67 years, Margaret (nee Kelly) and his daughter Theresa (Joe) Murphy. He is predeceased by his daughter Maureen (2013) and son-in-law Henry Ahrens (2018). Vincent is the youngest child of Angelina and Antonio Germano. He is predeceased by his siblings Angelo, Philomena Speck, Katherine and Earl. He leaves behind his loving grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Patrick and Katherine Murphy and Kelly Ahrens to cherish his memory. Corky had a long and successful life as partner in the construction firm Kerrio-Germano. He loved to work outdoors, especially in his garden.
At his request, cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow at Fairview Columbarium. Arrangements entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St.
