Obituary for Wanda Marie McLean (Morrissey)
MCLEAN, Wanda Marie- It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Wanda Marie McLean at the Welland Hospital, on Friday, October 9th in her 58th year after a long battle with cancer.
Beloved wife of John Thomas McLean for 26 years (together for 33 years). Predeceased by her father Thomas Joseph Morrissey (1989) and her daughter Amanda Morrissey (2012). Survived by her mother Hazel Margaret Strickland, daughter Helen Morrissey (Alex) and her son John Jr. McLean. Wanda was an incredible Nana to Caiden, Payton, Olivia, Aria, Ivan, Alannah and Dustin. They will miss her deeply. Wanda was a devoted wife, mother and Nana and she only wanted the best for her family. Family was number one to Wanda. She loved her cat (Mojo), singing and enjoying the outdoors, especially her “motorcycle adventures.” She always said it was so relaxing!
Wanda will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
