JEFFERYS, Wayne - passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday June 30, 2020 at the age of 73. Wayne's health had been failing over the last few years and he was ready to rest. Wayne was born on September 28, 1946 and was raised in Merritton, Ontario by his loving parents the late Norman and the late Edna (Reynolds) Jefferys. Wayne grew up with his brothers the late Brian (Jae), and the late Harold and his sisters, Bonnie Jefferys (John Henry) and Rosemary Turcotte (Tony). He worked as an Autobody Repair Person for over 30 years at Universal Collision in St. Catharines, Ontario. Wayne was a beloved Uncle to Jennifer, Scott (Rebecca), Christopher, Erica (Lance), Charlie (Bud), Wayne (Char) and Ashley, as well as a beloved Great-Uncle to Brianna, Tyler, Matthew, Christopher, Joseph, Jacob, Sophia, Jewelia, Jordan, Lana, Brock, Anthony, Lance and Paisley. He will also be dearly missed by cherished friends Mary Marcinkowski, Mark Marcinkowski, Elizabeth Kelly, Nathaniel Kelly, Melissa Pirkl and Mitzy Pirkl. You were dearly loved Uncle Wayne and we will always carry your memory in our hearts.
Under current conditions, laws have been set in place that regulate the number of visitors allowed in the funeral home. Preference will be given to those who have received an invitation. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. on Sunday from 12 to 2 pm. A service to celebrate Wayne’s life will follow at 2 pm in the chapel.
