ARMSTRONG, William David “Bill” – Passed away peacefully with his loving wife at his side at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday November 18, 2019 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Grimstead) Armstrong. Loving father of Lori (Joseph) Galliera and David Armstrong. Stepfather of Kathleen, Roy and Richard Grimstead. Caring grandfather of Aaron, Taylor, Kira, Liam and Brittany. Dear brother of Edith (Al) Ruddy and Peter (Donna) Armstrong. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Predeceased by his brothers Gary and Terry Armstrong and his parents Bill and Jean Armstrong. In his spare time Bill enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and hockey. He volunteered with coaching many local hockey teams over the years and helping with many different St. Davids Lions Club functions. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will take place on January 4, 2020 at St. Davids Lions Club from 2 to 4 pm. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Heart Niagara.
