As a long-time friend and comrade of Peter Cheyne (during our memorable years in and around Stratford), and having met Tony there (in the 1970's), I would like to express my heart-felt sympathies to Peter and his entire family at this difficult time. Anyone who knew or knew of Tony can only realize he lived a long and distinguished life in the world of the stage and theatrical literature. That he had such a long and rich career doing what he loved is a tribute to his talent and fortitude, and I know all who were touched by his aura were the better for it, and will miss him greatly.
