Lesya Bushusha

Lesya Bushusha

Administration/Hospitality
Born in Ukraine, Lesya moved to Niagara Falls in 1999. In January 2002 she joined Morse & Son and Morgan Funeral Homes. Lesya graduated from the Lviv Polytechnic National University (Ukraine) and worked as an office administrator for Editorial Production Enterprise in Ukraine and then as a bookkeeper for BAC Administration of Niagara Falls. Lesya and her son are active members of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church.

Fred Fisher

Funeral Assistant
An east coast native, Fred was raised in Niagara Falls and graduated from Stamford Collegiate. He was employed full time with Lubrizol for more than 30 years and was a Production Supervisor at the time of his retirement in April 2009. He is an avid photographer and is well known for the many weddings he has covered through the years. With his wife Kathy, they like to travel and have two children, their son Greg and daughter Kristyn. Fred has been assisting families at the Morse & Son and Morgan Funeral Homes since July 2004.

Helen Galpin

Helen Galpin

Hospitality
Helen Galpin has been with Morse & Son and Morgan Funeral Homes since 1984. Born in Quebec, Helen’s qualifications include a B.A. in Psychology from Trent University, two years of theological studies at Tyndale College in Toronto and computer studies at Niagara College. Helen and her late husband, the Rev. Robert Davis, had served at Main Street Baptist Church for 17 years. She is currently an adherent at Grace Gospel Church and volunteers at Meadows of Dorchester, assisting the Pastoral Care Coordinator. In February 2016 Helen retired from her long-time position as Office Administrator, and continues to assist occasionally with Hospitality for our client families and visitors.

Isabel Garner

Isabel is a receptionist at Morse & Son and Morgan Funeral Homes. Before her time at the funeral home, Isabel worked for Coutts Library Services for twenty three years. She has four children, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her leisure activities include singing with a ladies chorus both in competition and community performances.

Martha Gleddie

Hospitality
Born and raised in Toronto, Martha and her Chiropractor husband John moved to Niagara- on-the-Lake, along with their daughters, Sarah and Heather, in 1992. Martha joined the Morgan Funeral Home team in 2013 as a Receptionist / Housekeeper. Martha holds a diploma in Gerontology / Palliative Care from Niagara College, has served as chair of Hospice Niagara, and in her spare time enjoys running and cycling throughout Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Allan Levesque

Allan Levesque

Funeral Assistant
Helping others has been a passion of Allan’s for his entire working career. Retiring in 2016, after a 39 year career in community transportation care, Allan became a member of our support team as a Part time Funeral Director Assistant in September of 2016.
Allan’s commitments to the community have awarded him such medals as the St. John Ambulance Service Medal acknowledging 10,000 hours of volunteer service. He was named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International for his involvement in the initiation of Chair-A-Van. Most prestigiously, Allan was honoured as a Serving Brother in the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. Allan currently resides with his spouse Anissa.

Born in St. Catharines, “Mitch” is a graduate of Thorold Secondary School. Mitch is a professional highland piper who began studying the highland bagpipe in 1975 at the age of thirteen. Three years later, his love for the music and his passion for practice resulted in his being accepted for membership in the Niagara and District Pipe Band of Niagara Falls, Ontario. As a professional piper Mitch takes his musical talent very seriously. For more than thirty years it has been his privilege to assist families in bidding a final and dignified farewell to those they hold dear. In continuing his care for those we have lost, Mitch joined our team in December 2013, as a full-time Funeral Assistant. A lifelong Niagara resident, Mitch along with his wife Jennifer and their daughter Rowan, currently reside in Thorold.

Lisa Morgan

Lisa Morgan-Lantos

Office Manager
Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Lisa graduated Westlane Secondary School in 2009. Lisa holds two degrees: Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) and Masters of Business Administration, graduating from Brock University in 2014 and 2015 respectively. In 2015 Lisa earned her Certified Human Resource Professional designation. She is a fourth generation member of the Morgan family, and started with Morse & Son in 2013. Lisa currently lives in Niagara Falls with her husband, Ben, daughter, Morgan, and their two dogs, Knox & Axel.

Born in Montreal, Caroline relocated to the Niagara region in 1998, and has been with Morgan Funeral Homes since 2000. Prior to moving, she managed her own business in stained glass. As well as being the office secretary at Morse & Son and Morgan's, she has been involved with the Loss, Grief & Growth Education Project. Caroline has two adult children.

Jennifer Shelton

Jennifer Shelton

Event Centre Coordinator / Housekeeping
Jennifer joined the Morse and Son and Morgan Funeral Home Team in 2015 as a receptionist/funeral assistant. She holds a Correctional Worker Diploma from Niagara College and is a volunteer with the Guillain-Barre Syndrome Foundation of Canada as a liaison support worker for the Niagara Region. In her spare time she enjoys playing baseball and volleyball. She resides in Chippawa with her husband Dave.

Born in Brandon, Manitoba, Neil moved to Niagara at the age of 5, where at an early age he assisted his parents in the operation of Black Horse Garage and Grocery, their family business.
Neil’s desire to help others in need and his interest in cultural differences brought him employment as a part time Funeral Director Assistant in the beginning of September 2009. Neil previously served 34 years of employment as a custodian for the Niagara District School Board, spending the latter 28 years at Ridgeway Public where he was known as “Mr. Neil”.
Neil is proud of his family of 1 son, 2 daughters, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Kathy Visentin is a native of Niagara Falls who joined the staff of Morgan Funeral Homes October 1999 in the capacity of housekeeper/hostess/receptionist and has recently become a full-time receptionist. Prior to becoming a "stay at home mom", Kathy was a teacher for special needs children from 1977 to 1981. Kathy's educational background includes a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from Brock University. Her family includes her husband, Gino, daughter Laura and her husband Dan, son Geoff and his wife Rebecca, and grandchildren Molly, Sam and Fiona.

Sarah Duggan

Born in Niagara Falls, Sarah graduated secondary school in 2006. As a high school student she completed a co-op program with Morse & Son Funeral Home, having an article written about her experience and published in the Niagara Falls Review. In 2013 Sarah moved to Nova Scotia to embrace the Maritime culture, returning to Ontario in 2017. She rejoined the Morse & Son team in 2023, her active roles being housekeeping, hospitality and Funeral Assistant. In her free time she enjoys tending her garden and being outdoors.




Linda Thwaites

Receptionist
Born in Niagara Falls, Linda grew up and attended schools in the area. She graduated from Niagara College with a Social Services Diploma and was employed by Niagara Support Services prior to her 'retirement'. Linda continues to volunteer in the community with Meals on Wheels, Salvation Army Christmas Baskets and at Stamford Presbyterian Church. Her family consists of daughter, Heather, and son, Scott and his wife Nicole, and most importantly, her grandchildren, Mackenzie and Tiana. In her leisure time Linda enjoys reading, puzzles, and playing the piano/organ.

Funeral Assistant
A lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, Jim is a graduate of Westlane Secondary School (Valedictorian) and Wilfrid Laurier University with his Hons B.B.A. He recently retired as a Financial Advisor with IG Wealth Management helping families achieve their financial and retirement goals for 19 years, and previously worked with Niagara Plumbing Supply for 17 years as Controller and VP of Administration. An active volunteer, he is a member and Past President (2008) of the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls including 10 years as the Club’s Rotary TV Auction Chair, and is a Past-Chair of the Niagara Falls Chamber of Commerce in 2007 and then again from 2018-2021. Jim is also a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1652, and an Associate member of the R.C. Legion Br. 479. He enjoys his leisure time playing hockey, and played fastball and slow pitch for many years. With his wife Jo-Anne, they enjoy travelling and have 2 sons, Michael and Gregory.
