Life Story for Christine Ann Smith

SMITH, Christine Ann - It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Christine Ann Smith, aged 61, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Saturday, March 18, 2017. Predeceased by loving parents, Elizabeth Unsworth Smith (1991) and John Fielding Smith (2013). Also predeceased by sisters Elaine (Randy) Uhren (2004) and Patricia (Jack) Bureau (2009). Dearest sister of Diane (Randy) Ewen, John Smith, and James Smith. Loving aunt to David Smith, Joey and Jennifer Uhren, Heather Krislock, and Kathryn, Michael, and Stephen Bureau. Great-aunt to Lucas, Andrew, Hayden, Miles, and Molly. Fondly remembered by extended family and by colleagues and friends at Skylon Tower, where she was a valued employee for many years. Christine was a kind, sensitive soul who loved her family and her animal companions. She persisted against cancer with strength and dignity to the end.
Cremation has taken place. Christine’s family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street on Thursday evening, March 23rd from 5-7 pm with a memorial service following immediately in the funeral home at 7 pm.
