CROOKS, James Bertrum – Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of June for 61 years. Dearly loved father of Robin (John) Steckley, James, Garry, and Grant (Amanda). Cherished grandfather of Joseph, Kate (Sam), Adrean (Nicole) and Jessie. Dear brother of Elliot and Velma. Loving brother-in-law of Shirley (Charlie) Porkolab, Carolyn (Gary) Hogeveen and Carol Logan. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5719 Main St. visiting on Saturday December 1, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of James’ life will be held on Sunday December 2, 2018 at 11 am at the funeral home. Cremation will follow. In memory of James, memorial donations to Power to Change would be appreciated by his family.
