BIRD, Janet Martha (Tabaka) – Passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Bird (September 2000). Loving mother of JoAnn Bearss (Mervyn). Dear sister of Helen Lea and Johnny Boyuk. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by sisters, Mary and Ann and brother Peter.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of Janet will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to either the Lutheran World Relief or to the War Amps Canada.
