a multitude of sins

On one occasion of a family get together, I commented to Pat how pretty her pink blouse was that she was wearing. She said thank you, and said it covered a multitude of sins. That phrase stuck to me, and everytime I hear that or say it myself, I think of that moment with Pat. It is a funny thing to remember, but I did. Her and my Uncle Eugene frequented the Flying Saucer on Sunday mornings, and we would often bump into them there. The staff always had nice things to say about them, my daughter sometimes was their waitress. Pat will be missed by us all and we will think of Uncle Eugene and the rest of his family in our prayers.
