Remembering Dad/Grampy

Dad/Grampy made friends with everyone. He was a social butterfly and an amazing story teller. When he told a story he made it memorable and there was always a lesson to be learned. His experiences and  accounts throughout his life left us laughing, emotional, and most importantly honoured to share his life with him.

When Dad/Grampy was serving in the air force, Russian president at the time (Gorbachev) was over our air space. Dad/ Grampys team sent up 2, P33's to identify the plane or they were to be shot down.

While driving cab in Niagara Falls our Dad/Grampy could have written a book on his stories of his cabbie adventures, characters he met, and even celebrities he had picked up a long the way.

Dad/Grampy always had his video camera out to capture family moments. Always filming his grandchildren, he never missed an opportunity to film a birthday or Christmas.

We will continue to share his stories to our children, grandchildren, and friends. We will honour his kind soul and the joy and sweetness he brought into our lives.

Dad/Grampy never left a visit or phone call without saying  "I Love You " & We want you to know that forever, We love you Dad/Grampy.  xx Lyndsay, John, Thomas, Alexandra, Kyrsten, Olivia, Ian.
