Obituary for Angeline Mary "Angie" Bateman (Gorniak)

Angeline Mary "Angie" Bateman (Gorniak)
Bateman, Angeline ’Angie’ (nee Gorniak) - It's with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Angie, surrounded by her family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on December 14th 2019 at the age of 63. She leaves behind her greatest accomplishments in her daughter's Tanya and Shayna and also leaves behind her favourite role of Gramma to Tristyn and Mikayla. She leaves here to meet the love of her life, the late Lou Turpin (2018) and will be reunited with her father the late Roman (2012). She leaves behind her mom Barbara, sisters Darline and Monika and her nephew Jordan to cherish her memory. She could be found anywhere with a smile on her face she was very active in entrepreneurship, owning Hogan's Roadhouse, Legends and Funky Fries she loved her family at TGI Fridays but finally settled into a role with Niagara Casinos first in the Deli then Lev2l where she was delighted to lend a listening ear to her fellow co-workers and meet patrons, that then became friends. She could be found wearing flip-flops around the world and all summers at Long Beach. She had a huge love for all dogs and leaves behind her companion, Tiffany. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Unit D and the ICU.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. visiting on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
