BURCIUL, Avis – passed away suddenly at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday March 20, 2019 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late John. Dearly loved mother of Bruce (Cathy) Stevens, Sally Burciul, Doreen Upper, Lois (Mike) Hefferman, and Albert (Sandra) Burciul. Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Jennifer, Brittnay, Bradley, Dennis, Samantha, Tyler, Morgan, Nicholas and Meaghan. Loving and proud great-grandmother of Destiny, Alyse, Josh, Bradley, Carter, Cayden and Abigail. Kind great-great grandmother of Grayson. Dear sister of Joan Spinelli and Edna Poirier. Avis will be sadly missed by many friends and extended family. The family wished to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of the ICU Unit at the Greater Niagara General Hospital for their compassion and care of Avis. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. In memory of Avis, memorial donations may be made to the Niagara Falls Humane Society or the SPCA.
