June, you asked that we include a special memory of Ron, and I had many thoughts but they were not just about Ron alone, as your family is so tight-knit that you come as a package even in my thoughts and memories! That being said, there was one day when Joanne Krick and I came to visit you at your house on the Parkway and we brought food from Zonta members, right after your heart attack and we were sitting in the family room beside your kitchen and you were telling us about your heart attack and that you were so thankful Ron was home to do CPR and that he "saved your life". I remember how lovingly he looked at you and I thought how lucky you were to have him for a husband. I often think about that afternoon at your home and how comfortable he was to sit with us and chat, and what a lovely human being he was. I have been very touched to have been invited to your home, to meet your family and be included in some of your family events. The huge smile on Ron's face when your family surprised him with a 60th birthday barn party will also be one of my favourite memories of Ron, as he was totally surprised and so happy to see everyone.
