COLE, Edgar Austin (Ed)-passed away after a short illness on Wednesday October 6, 2004 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Kathleen (nee Rees). Father to Gary (Angela) Cole, Lisa (Ken) Warren. Grandfather of Tyler, Nicole, David, Alysha, Alexandria and Brandon. Edgar is survived by his brother Aubrey (Pearl) Cole and his sister Joyce and her late husband Robert Crysler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ed was an employee of Cyanamid for 46 years and was also a lifeguard at the Cyanamid pool for 14 years. Ed was an avid lover of sports and an excellent five pin bowler for many years. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. "Special thanks to Ed’s niece Mary Louise”.
Ed’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Rev. Val Kerr for her words of comfort and friendship given to Ed and ourselves and also to the staff at the Trillium Unit at G.N.G.H. for taking such good care of Ed.
Ed’s family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Cremation to follow. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
