YOUNG, E. James - After a courageous battle, Jim peacefully passed away on Monday January 17, 2005 at Tampa General Hospital, FL at the age of 74 years.
Jim was a veteran in the U.S. Navy - Korea and retired from Airco Spear Carbon, Niagara Falls, New York.
Loving husband of Bernice of Niagara Falls, dear father of James E. Young (Debbie) of Stevensville, and Holly Coleman of Niagara Falls. Cherished grandfather of Kristen, Jennifer, and Michelle Young, Alyssa and Jessica Coleman. Brother of Donna Truman (Bill), brother-in-law to Marilyn McDonald and the late John (Mac), Joan Estabrooks (Bert), Susan Daniels (Dave), Sam Daniels (Barb). Predeceased by his daughter Lori Layne Taylor, his brothers Wally, John (Mac) and Austin and his sisters Audrey, Lois and Vera and his brother-in-law Ronald.
A memorial service will be held at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main St., on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Jim had been a heart transplant recipient for the past 17 years. In memory of Jim those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
