Richard and I met Ernesta and Louis Beltrame, and their beautiful daughters Elisa and Laurie in 1969. They were neighbours of my mother, Gelinda Bosco. It did not take long to get acquainted with them through, first Louis' visits to our house, followed by Ernesta and the girls. Acquaintances followed by a deep friendship and then becoming almost family. When we were planning to have a family of our own we practiced with Elisa and Laurie, and thought this is okay, we can do this. Ernesta and Louis became the Godparents of our first daughter Anne-Marie. Then followed Janet-Lynn and Paul, all who to this day call Ernesta 'Zia Ernesta and Uncle Louis'. Ernesta and Louis were the most generous and fun loving people, and we shared many great times together. Now that the time has come for us to part, for a little while, we will treasure our memories until we meet again. We love you Ernesta, you are in good hands now and great company! You will be sadly missed by Anne-Marie, Janet-Lynn, Paul and Richard and I.
