MARALDO, Frances Elaine - Peacefully at GNGH on Wednesday January 10th, 2007 at the age of 85. Loving mother of Larry (Shirley) of Niagara Falls, and loving grandma of Brett of Toronto, Stacey (Mark) Larter of Calgary and Amanda (Jeremy) Yeung of Toronto, and great-grandmother of Caleigh Larter of Calgary. She is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Sam and Katie Elia and her sister Delores and her husband Don Drake. Frances owned and operated the Pre-Teen and Collegiate Shop for many years; she was an active member of St. Ann’s Church and a member of St. Ann’s Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a former member of Lord Halifax Chapter IODE for 25 years. Frances will be remembered for her caring and consideration for others. Larry and Shirley Maraldo would like to express their sincere thank you to our friends and relatives who took the time to visit and comfort Frances, our mother, during this difficult time, you will not be forgotten.
The family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street, Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil will be held at 3 o’clock. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Ann’s Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Frances, donations may be made to the Niagara Falls Humane Society or to St. Ann’s Church.
