WATSON, Mary Kathleen (nee Allison)-passed away peacefully on Thursday February 3, 2005 at Upper Canada Lodge at the age of 91. Predeceased by her loving husband William Rankin Watson (1984). Dear mother of Jean (the late David) Smith of St. Catharines and Lachlan "Lockie” (Doris) Watson of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Loving grandmother of five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her three brothers Clarence, Albert and Douglas Allison and also by her grandson Kenneth Smith (1998) and great-grandson Gregory Eales. A special thank you to Cathy Anderson and the staff at Upper Canada Lodge for their care and compassion shown to Mary and her family over the years.
Mary is at the NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES 415 Regent Street where her family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. A private family service will be held on Monday with interment to follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. For those who wish memorial donations may be made to Upper Canada Lodge through the funeral home.
