MONRAD, Robert C. - After a long illness, Bob suddenly passed away on Sunday April 10, 2005 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Barbara for 41 years, cherished father of Kathleen (Duane) Wilson, Kristine (Mike) Adams, Kerri (Dan) Kelley and Karoline Monrad (John West) and devoted grandpa of Kaitlin and D.J. Wilson, Garrett and Jake Adams, Stephen and Nicole Kelley, Emily and Nathan Dennis and predeceased by his grandson Joshua. Brother to Dale (Liz) Monrad and Ken (Gail) Monrad. Predeceased by his parents Eva and Milton Monrad. Bob is survived by his sisters-in-law Doreen (Bruno) Fruci, Dawn Mackenzie and several nephews and nieces.
Bob is at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES 5917 Main Street, where his family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Service under the auspices of Br.479 of the Royal Canadian Legion will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 11:00 o’clock. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Bob those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Organ Donation of Ontario.
