SPARKMAN, Selina “Lena” (nee Auld) - It is with great sadness that the family of Lena Sparkman announce her peaceful passing in Niagara Falls General Hospital on November 21st, 2016 at the age of 94. Lena was born in England and came to Niagara Falls at the age of 2 ½. Loving wife of the late Roland “Sparky” (1989). Lena is survived by her 3 sons Jim, Dennis (Ljudmilla) and Steve (Marcia) and her sister Marjory (Ansel) Wintle and her brother Winston (Elaine) Auld. Cherished grandmother of Greg, Anita, Corey (Laura), Marianne Hruska, Melanie (Murray) Armstrong, and David (Ashley) as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Lena was predeceased by her son Rolly (2015), daughters–in-law Diane (2016) and Patricia (2007), her grandson Tim (2014), and her 6 siblings James, Steve, Billy, Bobby, Florence Burns, and Teddy.
Family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, on Wednesday, November 23 from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. A funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Thursday November 24, 2016 at 11 A.M. Interment to follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations to the One Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
