Life Story for Susan Joanne MacRae

Susan Joanne MacRae
MacRAE, Susan- With an unwavering and positive outlook towards life, on April 13, 2017, Susan Joanne MacRae gained her wings and left cancer behind her. Susan is in the comforting arms of her parents, Joan and Len Nichol. She is survived by three siblings: Bruce MacRae, Robert MacRae, and Linda (MacRae) and Dan Bouwman, Ron Nichol, nine nieces and nephews, and twelve great-nieces and nephews. Susan was a mental health nurse, and passionately cared for her patients. Susan’s true love was music. She trained as an opera singer, wrote poetry, played guitar, and sang her original music.
The family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to Unit C at Greater Niagara General Hospital for their care and compassion of Susan in her final days. There will be a celebration of life on Sunday April 23, 2017 at Betty’s restaurant in Chippawa at 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Donations to a music scholarship can be made on through Morse & Son Funeral Home.
Little Star
Up in the Sky
Tells us when
The night is nigh
Won’t you lift me
Up to you
So I may have
Your heavenly view.
