Life Story for Yvonne Marie Belanger (Delorme)

Yvonne Marie Belanger (Delorme)
Yvonne Marie Belanger (née Delorme)
October 18th 1926 – February 25th 2017
“The loss of our mother can never be replaced, but the love of our mother can never be lost.”
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Bella Senior Care on Saturday February 25th in her 90th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband John, who she joined on his birthday. Now united in heaven with her cherished grandson Jordan Belanger. Loving mother of Thomas, Patricia, James (Linda), Diane (Randy). Cherished grandmother of Alexandra, Roland, Daniel, Chanel, Joele, and Marie-Claude. Predeceased by her father Leon and mother Evelina, brothers Ernest, Rene, Albert and Eugene, and her sisters Elosia (Allaire), Jeanne (Piquette), Cecile (Begin), Eva (Quagliariello) and Theresa (Croteau). Yvonne will be forever remembered for her quiet dignity and strength. She loved being outdoors. Her enthusiasm for gardening was a lifelong passion and she would often enjoy long walks throughout Chippawa. She had a nurturing spirit, and gave generously of her time to the neighbourhood children. Special thanks to all of the staff at Bella Senior Care and Willoughby Manor for their dedication and support.
Family will receive friends at MORSE AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, on Wednesday March 1st from 6-9pm. A celebration of life will be held at Morse and Son on Thursday March 2nd at 11am. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum. For those who wish, memorial donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
