Life Story for Dorothy Jean Samuels (Davies)
SAMUELS, Dorothy Jean (nee Davies) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy on Monday February 13, 2017 at the GNGH at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late Harry Samuels (2006) for 35 years. Mother of the late Michael Samuels (1985). Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Emily Davies and her sister Margaret Martin. She is survived by her step children as well as her grandchildren. She will be remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was born June 13, 1925 in Verdun, Quebec. Dorothy was a member of the Niagara Handweavers and Spinners for 40 years and she worked for the Capri Restaurant for 20 years.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday February 15, 2017 from 10 – 11 A.M. with a service following at 11 A.M. at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations to Make a Wish Foundation or to Tender Wishes would be appreciated.
