Condolence: Dear Joan,

It is with deep sorrow that I read of John's recent passing. I have many fond memories of John during our days as members of the Gentlemen Songsters. He certainly was a spirited performer as mentioned in the obituary. I also appreciated working with him on the reunion of the former Memorial School Staff in April 1984 shortly after the school became the Royal Canadian Legion. His efforts were also appreciated by the many former teachers who attended the event.
