Forever Grateful for Lynn's Kindness

I first met Lynn at Hope Manor where my eldest son was incarcerated. She was then a student social worker assigned to our family. She was a great support right from the start. Throughout the years, she attended to meetings to support me in advocating for the needs of both my sons with a variety of issues and agencies. Her warm smile put me at ease, she was a great listener and very insightful about many things and always had a word of encouragement for me. A while ago we met on a street corner near the Central Library in Kitchener to catch up and she told me she had cancer and was no longer working. I will be forever grateful for your kindness Lynn in accompanying me through some very difficult times. I already miss you.
