Dear Melissa

Our moms worked together, we took some martial arts classes together, we went to the same high school and shared the same taste in boys apparently (we dated the same boys). You had Nigel drive you to my house to return the necklace I gave to Chris, and you were super sweet about it. I was confused by you often but always you seemed to have a sweet presence and one of the best smiles...and the most beautiful, dark curly hair. * *** I saw you in the hospital when Willow was born. I was actually visiting your hospital roommate and her baby girl. You were beaming, and so full of love and so proud of your baby Willow. * ***We were so young. * ***Over the past year or so Ive reconnected with some of the people we knew back then in the Niagara Region. One of those people is your hospital roommate. Her baby girl died recently, as beautiful young adult. I dont know what happened to her, or to you, but these things have been brought to my awareness and then came this opportunity to type it down somewhere. Maybe this is for Willow, because Ive honestly never seen a new mom look so happy to meet her baby. * ***I dont know how to end this story. Do they ever truly end?*
