MACTAVISH (MACPHAIL) Rosalyn (Nee Erwin) – Passed away peacefully at Hospice Niagara on Saturday December 16, 2017 at the age of 74. Predeceased by her husbands George MacPhail (1984) and Gerald MacTavish (Port Perry 2003). Sadly missed by her children Alan (Danielle), Bonnie (Bob Waters) and Bryn (Allie). Proud grandmother of Alexander, Arianne, Cole and Anya. Beloved sister of Carolyn Philbrick and Claudia Grimwood (Allan). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and cousins. Daughter of the late Claude and Margaret Erwin. Rosalyn was a retired teacher from the District School Board of Niagara, an active and dedicated member for over 50 years of Beta Sigma Phi and the Drummond Hill Presbyterian Church Group 7, a member of Stamford Presbyterian Church and was a world traveller. We are forever grateful for the compassionate care and support provided by the Reverend Anita Van Nest, Home Instead care workers, LHIN professionals and Hospice Niagara. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Wednesday from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday at10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimer Society or Hospice Niagara would be appreciated.
