Condolence From: Mary Druce
Condolence: I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Rosalyn. My sincere condolences. I have so many memories of Ros, my Mom (Margery) and myself treckking up to Hamilton for fabric, having lunch and chatting about our future sewing projects...so long ago. Mom and Dad, Ros and George playing bridge together. Actually Ros taught me at Princess Elizabeth. I remember in particular we joined the YMCA on Fourth Avenue in the Falls and went faithfully to exercise and swim class. I was lucky to have shared many things with her and my Mom. I actually babysat Alan, Bonnie and Bryn. Bryn was only a baby and I think I was the first one to have the privilege of babysitting. She was a wonderful teacher and friend. I think of her often. xo

Condolence From: Heather McIntosh
Condolence: Dear MacTavish/MacPhail families
I was saddened to read of the passing of Mrs. MacTavish. She was my home economics teacher in public school and one of my favourite teachers. I learned many skills from her in the classroom. Years later we were Beta Sigma Phi sisters and I met her many times at functions over the years and enjoyed catching up with her when we met. Sending out my condolences and keeping you all in prayers at this difficult time. Sincerely Heather McIntosh

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I was just speaking about my Home Ec class in the early 80s with Mrs. MacPhail less than two weeks ago. Funny how teachers leave a lasting impression. I have fond memories of her coffee cake and chocolate macaroon recipes.

Condolence: On behalf of District 14 RTO/ERO, Retired Teachers of Ontario, please accept our sincere sympathy in the recent passing of Rosalyn. Countless young people passed through her classroom door as she taught them skills that would last a lifetime. On a personal level I remember Rosalyn from her days at Parliament Oak and then again when I would meet her at Prince Philip School in Niagara Falls. Cherish your memories of a woman who touched the lives of many.
