I was shocked to hear about Dave's passing. I wish to send my most sincere condolences to all members of his family. Although I've been out in Winnipeg for the last 20-odd years I did get a chance to spend some time with Dave out at Bush Lake Camp north of Thunder Bay when he made the trip with my dad Max and a whole crew of guys. It was really good to see him again and we reminisced about the old days with Lloyd and Glenn Peterson, Dave Lennox, Rick Larman...the whole gang. I remember Dave won the lottery when it first came out and he bought a nice older car. I think he bought it for us guys as much as he may have for himself. He was a great guy and a good friend.
